Behind the Photo
This photo was captured at the mid-point of my Southeast Asia trip and the second day i was in Vietnam. I was running low on film and needed to find a shop to restock. I walked through a handful of alley-ways trying to find this one camera place but ultimately got lost. It was a good thing I wasn’t out of film quite yet because this street corner struck me: the disorganized telephone wires, the motorbikes, the array of colors, and the man crouched down painting a pair of shoes. Just about every alley I went down that day looked different but they all shared the same feeling of this photo.
