AUSTRALIA

This collection of photos was captured while backpacking Australia in late 2024. I set off from Perth for a 5-day camping trip past the Pink Lake and into Kalbarri National Park. It was in Western Australia where I sadly saw more roadkill Roos than live ones. I returned to Perth, flew to Melbourne, traveled over 3,700 km (2,300 miles) by bus to Cairns, and then drove to Cape Tribulation, photographing all 21 stops over the 10-week trip. The longest night bus I took was 17.5 hours; that’s budget travel, hey!
